As a general rule, your custom dining table should have enough space to seat one person for every two feet of table length. For instance, an 8-foot dining table can comfortably accommodate four people on each side. Typical tables are 28-30 inches tall and have widths ranging between 36 and 40 inches.
It is preferable to finalize your choice of seating before designing your dining table or office desk. Since chairs come in different dimensions, customizing the table to fit your specific seating ensures a perfect match.
