Typically, a 50-70 sq. ft. fireplace takes just one day. Two-story stone fireplaces require two to three days for installation. We minimize the mess by sealing off areas and using floor runners. All cutting and mortar mixing is done outside.

Yes. First, we remove any tiles surrounding the fireplace or on the hearth. Then we affix a wire mesh to the existing studs and apply a layer of mortar for a smooth surface. If a mantel has been chosen, it will be installed prior to the stone placement. The stones are then carefully hand-laid. Each stone is inspected to ensure it matches in terms of colour, texture, shape, and size, harmonizing with the overall project. The final step involves installing the hearthstones. This entire installation process typically takes one or two days.

Yes, we provide custom-made fireplace surrounds to help you achieve your desired look. Select the natural stone you want your mantel to be made from and let us take care of the fabrication and installation.

This is due to its low heat resistance, as resin components can melt at 150°F, leading to cracks or warping. It is also non-combustible, posing a risk in direct flames. For gas fireplace surrounds or mantels, choose more suitable materials like brick, stone, or tile.
